In 1770 Francesco Guardi made this baroque work of art. The artpiece measures the size: Inchi 19 × 30 3/4 (cm 48,3 × 78,1). Oil on canvas was used by the European artist as the technique for the artwork. What is more, the work of art forms part of the digital collection of Makumbusho ya Metropolitan ya Sanaa. Guardi’s views of Venice differ from those of Canaletto in that they are less about a detailed description of individual buildings than an attempt to convey the magic of the city, enveloped—as here—in a diaphanous, silvery light. This view shows the cemetery island of San Michele with its early Renaissance church, designed by Mauro Codussi in 1469, flanked, on one side, by the domed Cappella Emiliani and the Gothic belltower and, on the other, by the (former) Camaldolensian monastery.

However, the tone of the print products and the imprint may diverge somehwat from the image on your screen. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, color pigments may not be printed one hundret percent realistically. Bearing in mind that all the are processed and printed by hand, there might as well be minor differences in the exact position and the size of the motif.
